When CX-7 Mazda introduced in 2006, was in class by itself. It's sportier and more powerful than the fast-selling entry-level utility vehicles like the Honda CR-V and Toyota RAV4. But also more expensive, thus failing to attract many buyers. For the year 2010, Mazda hopes to overcome this problem by adding a new base engine and mark it with a lower sticker price. The CX-7 is now pricing in accordance with the best-seller in the category, and the sporty driving character that gave it a competitive advantage over similarly equipped rivals.

The 2010 Mazda CX-7 is offered in four trims: i SV, i Sport, s Touring and s Grand Touring. A 2.5-liter engine new base four-cylinder standard on the i trim, while stocks gain 2.3-liter turbocharged four carryover. The SV i come standard with cloth upholstery, cruise control, air conditioning, power windows, remote keyless entry, Multi-Information Display, AM / FM / CD stereo, an additional input jack and 17-inch alloy wheels. I Sport adds leather to the steering wheel and the shift key and is equipped with Bluetooth mobile phones and audio connectivity. S Touring get a power driver's seat, heated front seats, leather seats and 18-inch alloy wheels. FJ Cruiser is clearly visible as it is built to go off-road. Our tester is equipped with bold Toyota Trail Teams (TT) Special Edition package, which includes sand paint, roof-vibrant color, blacked out hood, and a black grille, mirrors, door handles and bumpers.
