New Cars By.Cadillac Type SRX

SRX offers a dynamic alternative in the mid-luxury crossover segment, with dramatic designs, the choice of efficient engines and nimble driving experience. SRX received some revisions for 2011, with a number of new features and modifications that make the vehicle even more refined, responsive and technologically advanced. SRX seats five and gave generous occupant and cargo space, but can tow up to 3500 pounds when properly equipped. A direct injected 3.0-liter V6 is standard and turbocharged 2.8-liter V6 is optional. Both use advanced technology that helps produce a strong performance typical of a larger engine-displacement, but with greater fuel and lower emissions.

Cadillac launched its next-generation 2010 Cadillac SRX luxury crossover medium, featuring a new design and more-efficient, high-tech engine options in the North American International Auto Show 2009.

"The all-new SRX is a fresh and interesting crossover is aimed at luxury buyers priority," said Mark McNabb, North America vice president, Cadillac / Premium Channel. "With new technology to improve efficiency and safety, 2010 SRX Crossover redesigned to focus on both emotional and pragmatic side of the luxury consumer."

The 2010 Cadillac SRX is designed for efficient performance, including a choice of two high-tech six-cylinder engine for a new Cadillac. A new 3.0L and 2.8L E85 capable injected V6 engine is standard and a new, direct turbocharged V6 is optional. Both machines use a technology that helps produce a strong performance typical of a larger engine-displacement. Direct injection allows 25 percent reduction in hydrocarbon emissions. Fuel economy in the mid-20s on the highway is expected, but testing is not complete.

Performance and safety is enhanced by all the drives available - wheels (AWD) system designed to optimize vehicle handling and stability in all driving conditions. Differential AWD system including sophisticated electronic limited-slip (eLSD) which distributes the required torque from side-to-side along the rear axle, in addition to the front to the rear axle. Pre-emptive, active-on-demand system provides an extra measure ability in wet or cold conditions.
